This film reflects on the difference between being alone and feeling lonely, and on the freedom of discovering that love does not always have to be sought outside of ourselves. Sometimes, the deepest form of love begins within.
Through solitude, self-confrontation, and the willingness to meet both the light and the shadow within, we begin to remember who we are.

Devenir is a poetic art film in French, exploring love, identity, boundaries, and the difficult journey of becoming oneself.
Sometimes, we don’t leave the people we love. We simply try not to leave ourselves behind while still loving them.
For a long time, I believed that being loved meant being good, quiet, and becoming who others expected me to be. I learned to silence myself, hold back my tears, and make myself smaller in order to belong.
Until something within me asked to breathe.
This film reflects on what happens when we begin to choose ourselves and how that choice can sometimes be misunderstood by the people we love. It explores the complexity of love: how we can love deeply and still hold on too tightly; how we can be wounded and wound others; and how understanding does not always mean excusing.
At its heart, Devenir is an invitation to let ourselves and those we love, become who we truly are.
Because perhaps real love begins when we stop asking another person to remain who we need them to be, and allow them to become themselves.

Where My Soul Speaks is an intimate journey beneath the surface of identity, into the parts of ourselves that cannot always be seen, explained, or put into words.
There is the self that others encounter: a face, a presence, a story shaped by everything we have lived through. And then there is the self that exists underneath it all. The one that carries memories, wounds, desires, tenderness, and truths that language can sometimes fail to hold.
In this film, I explore the space between these two selves. Through poetry, watercolor, and moving image, I allow what lives within me to take another form. The brush becomes a voice. Poetry gives form to what I cannot always articulate. Color carries what words alone cannot.
This is not a journey toward becoming someone new. It is a return, a quiet movement inward, toward the woman who has always existed beneath the layers of experience, expectation, and survival.
Where My Soul Speaks invites you to consider the distance between being seen and being known, and the possibility that sometimes our truest selves are revealed not through what we say, but through what we create.
A meditation on identity, vulnerability, memory, and the self that exists beneath the surface.
