A Life We Came to Live explores the cycles we move through in life: beginning again, repeating patterns, questioning our purpose, and searching for meaning while moving through the demands of everyday life.
The work reflects on the moment when that search becomes quiet. A moment of recognition when purpose is no longer something to pursue or prove, but something that has been within us all along.
Through layered watercolor, shifting tones, and a sense of movement within the composition, I explore the space between searching and remembering. The accompanying poem extends this reflection, inviting us to consider what happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for the answers.
